Is there a free version?

Yes. Ogou Poll Lite is on WordPress.org and covers voting, real-time leaderboards, candidate photos and video, countdowns and card designs. Pro adds paid voting, gateways, judges, VIP, payouts and reporting.

Do I need all the payment gateways?

No. Each gateway is a separate add-on plugin — install only what your audience uses. They are all included with an active Pro licence.

What happens when my licence expires?

The plugin keeps working. You stop receiving updates and support until you renew.

Can I use Pro on a client's site?

Yes, from the Advanced licence up. Advanced covers 3 websites and Agency covers 10.

Which WordPress and PHP versions are supported?

WordPress 5.8 or newer and PHP 8.0 or newer, with PHP 8.2 recommended. HTTPS is required for payments.

How do people vote?+
Add the shortcode to a page. Voters sign in, then either use their free votes or buy coins and spend them on a candidate.
Free voting or paid voting?+
Both. Set Free votes per user on a contest for free voting, or leave it at 0 and set up coin packages + a payment gateway for paid voting.
Which payment gateways are supported?+
Stripe, PayPal, Paystack, MonCash (Digicel Haiti) and Pay'M PlopPlop. Each is configured separately with a test mode.
Do I need the free version too?+
No. Ogou Poll Pro includes everything. If the free “Lite” plugin is installed, Pro deactivates it automatically.
How do updates work?+
Once your license is active, updates arrive automatically. You can also force an immediate check from any Ogou Poll admin screen.
